The agreement
Terms of Service
What you agree to when you add ZeroBot to a server, use its dashboard or buy Premium. Kept short enough to actually read.

What this covers
These terms apply to the ZeroBot Discord bot, the dashboard at dash.zeropvp.xyz and ZeroBot Premium. Adding the bot to a server, signing in to the dashboard or buying Premium means you accept them.
ZeroBot runs on Discord, so Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply as well. ZeroBot is an independent project and is not made, endorsed or run by Discord.
ZeroBot is run by Mirko Goldschmidt, Langacker 16, 24988 Oeversee, Germany. Contact: mirkogoldschmidt@outlook.de.
Who may use it
- You must be old enough to use Discord where you live, and old enough to accept terms there. Buying Premium needs you to be of age to pay, or to have a parent or guardian do it.
- Only people with Manage Server on a server can add ZeroBot to it or change its settings.
- Members of a server that uses ZeroBot use it under that server's rules. The server's staff decide which features are on.
Your server, your settings
ZeroBot does what its settings tell it to: it bans, times out, deletes messages, hands out roles and posts messages because a server's staff set it up to. What it does on your server is your responsibility, including the moderation decisions it makes on your rules.
Server Builder and Server Rework change a server in bulk. Rework can rename, move and delete channels and roles and rewrite permissions. Both show what they will do before they do it; read that preview. Discord has no undo for a deleted channel, and backups of your server are yours to keep.
Acceptable use
Do not use ZeroBot to:
- spam, mass-message or direct-message people who did not ask for it;
- harass, threaten or target anyone, or run raids against other servers;
- break Discord's terms or the law, or host content that does;
- attack, overload, probe or reverse the bot, the dashboard or the servers they run on;
- resell, rent out or pass off ZeroBot or its dashboard as your own service.
A server that uses ZeroBot this way can have the bot removed and its dashboard access closed, without notice where the abuse is serious.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you are a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw from a Premium subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. To do so, send a clear statement to mirkogoldschmidt@outlook.de or to the postal address above, naming the server the subscription is for. Sending it before the 14 days are over is enough.
Premium starts straight after payment because you ask for it to at checkout. If you withdraw, you get the payment back within 14 days, to the same payment method, minus the share for the days Premium was already on.
Beyond that right, refunds are given where they are fair:
- Yes if you were charged twice, if Premium never switched on, or if a Premium feature stayed broken.
- No for a period that has already been used, or where the bot was removed from a server for breaking these terms.
Please ask by email before opening a chargeback; almost everything is quicker to fix that way.
Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.
To Mirko Goldschmidt, Langacker 16, 24988 Oeversee, Germany, mirkogoldschmidt@outlook.de: I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service: ZeroBot Premium for the server ______ Ordered on (*) / received on (*): ______ Name of consumer(s): ______ Address of consumer(s): ______ Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): ______ Date: ______ (*) Delete as appropriate.
The service itself
ZeroBot is run by one person. It aims to be up all the time, but there is no uptime guarantee: it can go down for updates, hardware faults or problems at Discord, and Discord can restrict or suspend bots at its own discretion.
Free features can change or end. Paid Premium periods that are cut short by ZeroBot shutting down are refunded for the unused part.
Liability
Liability is unlimited for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act.
For slight negligence, liability only applies to a breach of an obligation that is essential to the service and that you rely on, and is limited to the damage that was typical and foreseeable when the contract was made. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded. This covers, among other things, a moderation action taken on your server's settings and a change made by Server Builder or Server Rework that you confirmed.
Ending
You can stop using ZeroBot at any time by removing it from your server. What happens to the data it kept is in the Privacy Policy.
ZeroBot can be removed from a server that breaks these terms. If that server has Premium and the removal was not because of a breach, the unused part of the current period is refunded.
Law and changes
German law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in. ZeroBot does not take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
If a part of these terms is not valid, the rest still applies. These terms can change: the date at the top changes with them, and a change that affects paying subscribers is announced to them before it applies.
