What people ask first.
Is ZeroBot free?
Yes. Moderation, raid protection, tickets, logs, the Server Builder and most of the rest are free. Premium is per server: it lifts limits and adds Backups, Undo changes, the bot's own profile on your server and ZeroBot AI actions on your live server.
Why does the invite ask for Administrator?
ZeroBot creates channels and roles, sets permissions and moderates members, so it asks for one permission that covers all of it. Its role still has to sit above the roles it hands out: Discord never lets a bot manage a role above its own.
Will it message my members?
Only for one thing: when a member's own ticket is closed, they get a short DM with who closed it and why, and you can turn that off on the Tickets page. Results, notices and appeal answers stay in your server or on a web page.
Can it delete my channels?
The builder only adds what is missing and reuses channels and roles with the same name. Replacing a server or removing channels asks you to type the server's name first.
What does it store?
Your settings, moderation records and tickets, plus levels and backups where you use them. Messages are read to run filters and logs, but they are not kept in a database, unless a server switches on the message backup (at most 30 days in Backups, and up to 90 days in Undo changes depending on the plan). The privacy policy lists everything.
